What you need.

Four things, before we can collect your new passport from the Embassy of Nepal in Canberra.

●

Your original old passport

Or, for a child’s passport, the birth certificate. The Embassy asks for it at collection, and we return it with your new passport.

●

Your email to the Embassy

Sent from your own email address to consular.canberra@mofa.gov.np, naming our collector. We give you the wording.

●

The signed forms

An authority letter and a service agreement. Fill them in and sign online, then email the PDF to us.

●

An address to deliver to

Anywhere in Australia, with someone there to sign for the Express Post envelope.

Renewing your passport? You need to go in person.

The Embassy requires everyone aged 5 and over to attend for fingerprints and a photo, so a renewal cannot be dropped off by someone else. Book your appointment through the Embassy’s pre-enrolment system. Once your new passport has been issued, we can collect it for you.
